This installment of the "Words & Music" series will spotlight four local songwriters performing their original music, in the round, at Artisphere in the Dome Theatre.

Hosted by Jon Kaplan of Bicycle Thieves, this showcase will feature:

Amber Dutton - Dutton plays indie-folk-rock in the DC area, a songwriter in love with spoken-word and melody, reflecting influences as diverse as Ani Difranco, Vampire Weekend, Regina Spektor, Ben Harper, Black Keys and Violent Femmes. http://www.amberdutton.com

Michael Pearsall (of Honor By August) - Michael Pearsall is the lead vocalist & guitarist of Honor By August. In its young career Honor By August has already played arena stages, had its music broadcast to millions and won the Grand Prize in Billboard's World Song Contest.
