VICTOR EKPUK CREATES WORKS FOR ART ON THE ART BUS

Victor Ekpuk, an Alexandria, Va., based artist, is inspired by ancient African writing, graphic systems and symbols. He will be creating a new installation for the “ART on the ART BUS” program onsite at Artisphere's Works in Progress Gallery. ART on the ART BUS is a mobile gallery showing original art on one of the Arlington County’s ART public transit buses, cultivating a vibrant arts experience for transit riders in Arlington County. Come and meet the artist, watch him at work and participate in creating your own art using your personal symbols or others that are borrowed from our immediate environment.
