Sculpture Art Making: Family Sunday Session on July 29

An arts adventure for the whole family!

Sun July 29 / 2-4pm
$20 adult/$10 ages 2-12
Terrace Gallery / Dome Theatre / Education Lab

Please note that there are three separate opportunities to participate with your family. The participation fee is for each individual session; this is not a series. The classes will vary, so you can come back for all three and experience something new each time!

Sculpture Art Making will combine environmental science and various innovative sculptural techniques to create art from found materials. Participants will be introduced to the sculptures on exhibition at Artisphere, explore the role of sculptures in public spaces and will get introduced materials such as foam, cardboard, cement and wood through a hands-on process. This family class is presented to complement Virginia Commonwealth University Sculpture Exhibition in Artisphere’s Terrace Gallery,

Experienced instructors Alicia Cosnahan and Peter Krsko are members of Albus Cavus Art Collective. Albus Cavus builds strong and healthy communities through public art and creative collaborations.

Three separate session options:
Sun July 15
