Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP) is a Washington, DC metro area-based 501=
c3 that began in 2005 as an annual eco-ethical fashion show on the Uni=
ted Nations Week calendar. Since then, Fashion Fights Poverty has evol=
ved into a non-profit organization that raises awareness and contribut=
es to initiatives that encourage and support creative, effective, and =
sustainable means of challenging poverty. The organization’s mission i=
s grounded on the idea that the fashion and textiles industries offer =
unique and effective opportunities to contribute to the alleviation of=
poverty. Working with designers, craftsmen and consumers, Fashion Fig=
