hday with an evening of original art, incredible music and off-beat ar=
tsy activities. In honor of turning one, Artisphere commissioned local=
 artist and cinematographer Brian Stansfield to create Orbit, a site-s=
pecific video work sponsored by the Rosslyn Business Improvement Distr=
ict, to light Artisphere's Dome.&nbsp\;  =0D=0AParty attendees will ge=
t access to downloads of original scores to Stansfield's work created =
by six artists including folk/ambient musician Aaron Thompson and soun=
d artist Yoko K as well as artists performing live at Artisphere that =
evening—electro/house/dance DJ supergroup Volta Bureau (in their first=
 live performance), DJ and producer Alvin Risk, DJ Auto Rock, Hays Hol=
laday of Bluebrain and Barcode Orchestra.&nbsp\; The music will not be=
 audible to those passing by, however, as it will not be amplified. Ra=
ther, the five pieces will be made available&nbsp\; in advance for att=
endees to download and load onto an iPod or portable music player. Usi=
ng a visual sync at the beginning of the video, they will be able to l=
isten to any musical piece they chose. None of the musicians will have=
 heard what the others have created prior to the unveiling, nor will t=
he video artist have heard what the musicians have done with his work.  =0D==
0AThe evening also includes live interactive mural creation with artis=
t Arijit Das\; You, Me, Them, Everybody LIVE!, a very special edition =
of Brandon Wetherbee's live comedy variety show\; and mini-modern oper=
a with UrbanArias. Sneak peek at Limelight, Saturday Night, a public a=
rt installation and video work by Sans façon.&nbsp\; For this work, or=
iginally commissioned by Artisphere in honor of its 2010 opening, Sans=
 façon created a different approach to city street lighting by replaci=
ng two existing street light heads with theatre spotlights, creating a=
n invitation for passers-by to temporarily transform the street into a=
 stage.&nbsp\; This video work includes the Clarendon section of Arlin=
gton as well as major international cities across the globe. . The 1 P=
arty is presented in collaboration with Brightest Young Things.    &nb=
