d to national identity, American spirituality and corporate mythology.=
 Her hybrid, candy-colored works have been exhibited nationally and in=
ternationally. She is represented by Hamiltonian Gallery in Washington=
, DC and has an art studio in the Arlington Arts Center. During her on=
-site residency, Mullins will create new paintings specifically for th=
e ART ON THE ART BUS program which will be on view in May.  Curated by=
 Artisphere, the ART ON THE ART BUS is a mobile gallery showing origin=
al art on one of the Arlington County's ART public transit buses, cult=
ivating a vibrant arts experience for transit riders in the area. One =
ART BUS will be in permanent rotation throughout the different routes =
available to ART BUS passengers. In addition, Mullins' work The New Am=
erican Reincarnation Machine will be installed inside Artisphere's WIP=
 gallery during her residency.  This work is an interactive sculptural=
 installation that will predict your “Future Life Animal,” or what ani=
mal you will be reincarnated as in your next life. For a small monetar=
y donation and using responses to invasive questions about one’s perso=
nal choices, a participant will be able to determine their animal rein=
carnation. This installation humorously packages spirituality into a t=
ransaction resembling a vending machine and questions the idea of spir=
ituality and consumerism in American culture.=0D=0A Artist Residency h=
